Data Frontier is an engineering company born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. From hardware to software, from a cast part to a cloud platform, what we offer is made by our own team. Now we are bringing our products to customers in the United States and Europe.
From one IoT project to a workshop full of products.
2020: a real problem, no off-the-shelf answer
Data Frontier was founded in May 2020 by engineer Pedro Marco Campos Vieira to solve a problem no catalog product solved: measuring and sending data from places no network reaches. Water sites in rural Brazil had to report their readings, and there was no cellular signal.

From electronics to metal
Building our own hardware led us to make our own parts, and making parts led us to build the machines. Today the company runs industrial production lines, a 3D printing materials store, the IoT platform, an education platform and the STL Prime model library, plus CAM software developed for our own CNCs.

Now: the United States and Europe
Software and connected devices travel well. We are opening Data Frontier to customers outside Brazil, starting with the products that work anywhere: the IoT platform, Data Frontier CAM and STL Prime. Engineering, servers and the workshop stay in Brazil, with the same team that built them.
